movie update: Sundance red carpet

Postby Grey Man on Mon Jan 25, 2010 7:51 am

Just got back from the US premiere of "Get Low" at Sundance. What a blast. Here's two quick pics of the red carpet. It's a casual red carpet out there, which is nice because it's 3 degrees. Fahrenheit. I've got an interview coming up in a day or two, will post that when I get it. Most people want to talk with the actual stars, but we did get some press, which is nice.

First, me with cast and crew (I'm far left): link
Next, me and Mrs. Grey Man: link

Once again, it was very well received. There's serious Oscar buzz. What a ride!

Yes, we've had a lot of great press. Duvall was on Fresh Air, he did All Things Considered about a month ago, and he was on Regis and Kelly last week. Bill Murray did a GQ interview and Letterman, which is amazing because he's Bill Murray and also because he never does press. Ever. So it's been awesome.

Headed to LA in about 20 minutes for the premiere. Releases to the public in NY and LA on Friday, and the rest of the country in August. You can go to eventful.com to request it in your area. You have to enter your email, so you may get spam, but there you have it. And you can check getlowthefilm.com to find out if it's coming anyway.

WOO-HOO!!!!!

Freaking sweet! I'm going to request it, but I had an idea. Is it better to request it for my actual area or should I put in a request for a larger city so it will make more money?

I have no idea how the request thing works, dude. So just do whatever you think is best.

Here's a little interview I did for local TV in Atlanta:
