Well, I have been posting on here now for 10 years. When I first found the yam I was married and living in San Diego. Shortly after that I moved back to Northern California and have been here ever since. Life has gone through a number of changes and some ups and downs but after a decade I still have been checking the yam just about every day for 10 years except for 2 brief periods of a few months when I had no internet access. Funny nowadays you can't walk 2 feet without falling over an internet connection so not being online is really not an issue anymore. I never needed a reason to check the yam....I just always have. There are some people on here I think I would genuinly miss if I never was able to see what was on there minds from time to time anymore despite never meeting them in real life. Sometimes I wonder why past hardcore yammerites have "left" or simply stopped posting. Really its the net......everything is one click away. I sometimes wonder what motivates some to cease activity on something like a forum like this. Some sort of inner protest? I seriously doubt these people have abandoned internet usage.....its just strange to me.

I always wondered at that too. Just sometimes in my case i drift in an out of using forums.

I used to post all the time and then went through periods were i didn;t for months and only returning for one or two posts. I actually sort of felt too dumb at times here with some of the intense knowledgable topics going on at times and just stuck to the fun one such as word relation and Liu-Lung!!! Muwhahahahahaha!!!!!
