ConQuest Sac 3-19-11 thru 3-21-11

Postby IraShaine on Mon Jul 26, 2010 7:13 pm

Well I know the idea of a wst coast meat up has been tossed around some. I am thinking seriously at this point of attending this show and am currently tossing around the idea of doing a Warhammer English Civil War event. Not 100% sure yet. If I do I will need to register my event soon. Anybody in this part of the world interested in going?

I really wish I could make it down for this, but I'm already pretty booked up. I am planning on attending both the Portland & Seattle events though. Portland is October 1-3rd, 2010. Seattle is January 21-23, 2011.

I would go to Portland in October if I had the money. I have freinds there that would probably go as well. But alas not enough time to plan even though I can drive there in 5 hours.

If I ever fall into a large sum of money I'll use some of it to get all you cash strapped Yammerites to GenCon. I'll also use some of it to buy a ladder to climb out of the large amount of money I fell into. I might also buy a big bag to haul it away.

I cash out a retirement fund next year from a previous job. It just depends on when I actually get the check in hand. Money isnt even the real issue because with enough time I could save up whatever. Time is the biggest factor. Getting away form my current job is tough.

A year away Gen Con is always on the table. Seattle and Portland are more likely however.

And you guys are all missing Pax, so if there ever was a West-Coast YamCon, I would think that would be the site.

Sacramento Con sounds good, I know March isnt hard to get time off in, so I'll have to see. Is the Con worth going, and is there stuff to do other than the con?

Sacramento has not alot. Usually when I am there I eat at Cattlemans steakhouse, drink beer and go to game stores.
